Improving health and strengthening communities through the use of telehealth and virtual care

The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health (UQ-COH) is one of Australia’s leading academic centres with more than 25 years’ experience developing, implementing, and evaluating telehealth and virtual care services around the country.

The UQ-COH multidisciplinary team are responsible for:

  • Pioneering research in telehealth and virtual care which responds to healthcare priorities, community needs, and consumer preferences;
  • Academic and vocational education and training in telehealth and virtual care; and
  • Telehealth and virtual care consultancy services, supporting our industry partners across Australia and globally.

The UQ-COH mission is to lead telehealth and virtual care research and education which inspires improvements in healthcare access, in partnership with communities and health services.
