Biography

Molly is a dietitian and credentialed eating disorder clinician. While working in clinical dietetic practice since 2017 she could clearly see the benefits of integrated care approaches, especially for people with gastrointestinal disorders. Molly’s PhD aims to intertwine the benefits of integrated care with the advantages of digital healthcare systems to provide patient-centred diet and lifestyle support to people with irritable bowel syndrome. Molly’s previous research work includes projects in the areas of telehealth delivered dietary behaviour change support for people with chronic conditions (particularly chronic kidney disease), dietary quality in intuitive eating, working with carers of older adults with malnutrition, the food-body-mind connection for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and more. More information on her clinical practice is here.
