Biography

Herdiana is a PhD candidate at The University of Queensland, researching telehealth adoption in integrated primary healthcare for infectious disease services in remote and marginalised communities in Indonesia. She has over 20 years of experience in public health, including programme implementation, surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilisation, and capacity building.

She has collaborated with international agencies, universities, and research institutes on multiple studies and has served as a guest lecturer at national universities in Indonesia. Her professional roles include working with WHO, UNICEF, and local NGOs to support the Indonesian Ministry of Health in advancing infectious disease elimination.

Herdiana holds a Doctor of Medicine from Universitas Gadjah Mada, a Master of Health Policy and Administration from Universitas Sumatera Utara, and a Master of Epidemiology from The University of Queensland.
