The Australian Digital Health Blueprint and Action Plan 2023–2033 describes the importance of digital health capabilities in the healthcare system, with one of its focal areas being the reinforcement of trust. The COH is working to better understand and measure trust in digital healthcare, and make sure users have the tools needed to engage with it.
Through this work, we can enhance the adoption of digital health technologies, support better health outcomes, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of digital healthcare solutions. Simply put, if people don’t trust digital healthcare or confidently know what to do, they won’t use it.
