The effective integration of telehealth within our health system is dependent on key requirements including: a skilled workforce, well informed consumers, funding reform, improved digital ecosystems, and the proper integration of telehealth into models of care.1
The COH is highly committed to supporting our health workforce, industry partners, and consumers, by:
- offering practical telehealth training services for health professionals
- leading specific research projects which focus on the use of telehealth in clinical practice (adoption and factors influencing sustainability); and
- delivering telementoring programs which enhance collaboration opportunities between quaternary, tertiary, regional and primary care services (Project ECHO).
